Beauty for Ashes

“…I will bestow on them beauty for ashes….”

Isaiah 61: 3

When terrible things happen, I’m so glad God can use them or somehow turn them around for good. I’m not sure we can say that for everything, but I have seen things in my life that are horrific and yet something good can come out of it.

Example? Yes, a couple going through cancer, and being drawn closer together as they go through it.

Lord God, You know the tragedies we have all faced, so help us to find some good to come out of them. And may our faith and trust in You be even stronger. We believe Lord God, help us in our unbelief.

We trust in You!

Amen, Lord God, amen.
